200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

This 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training has been carefully curated for students who want to experience and teach yoga as a transformative, empowering, and illuminating practice.

Unlike other yoga programs that start with how to approach a class, we first focus on why you practice, how to master your own mind, nurture the mind-body connection within, and then we navigate how to hold the space, guide and bear witness to our students' journies. You will learn how to confidently step on your mat as a leader in your community and teach classes that are inclusive and integrate yoga philosophy, anatomy & physiology, intuitive sequencing, self-empowerment, divine feminine flow, and more!

This training fully immerses you in the culture of yoga as a physical, mental, and emotional practice and understanding the importance of your personal practice and how to successfully transfer the knowledge you have to your students. You will graduate leaning into your authentic self and knowing that living an intentional life is the best yoga you can practice and teach.

If you're looking for a training that teaches you how to instruct an hour-long group yoga workout, this is not the training for you. If you're willing to show up for yourself, lean into your tribe, are excited by the thought of cultivating an inclusive yoga community, and teach students how to dive into the world of yoga -  this is the training for you!

Prerequisites & Training Requirements

Prerequisites: There are no formal prerequisites to take a 200-hour training however, the training is physically and emotionally demanding; because of this, we recommend that you have a consistent home practice and have been practicing for a year before you apply. You do not need to be able to do "advanced" sequences or postures to attend. We will help you learn how to be of service to your students by teaching authentically as long as you come as you are, ready to learn and grow. You are required to attend the retreat at the end of the training as the time spent on the retreat includes your final module and graduation.

Training: To best serve students, training is held every other weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will be training in both Wichita and Hutchinson to make the training accessible to students across South-Central Kansas. The training begins in March with our opening 4 modules focusing on giving you the foundational tools to be a student for life. Each module will build upon itself so it is imperative that you know you can attend each weekend when you apply. If you can't attend a module for any reason, you will need to arrange a time to make up those hours with the instructors before graduating.

What makes this training different?

This training is unlike any other training in the state of Kansas because every module is co-taught, guest teachers are brought in to share their specialties, the last module is a weekend retreat, and that's just the tip of the iceberg! What truly makes this training unique is the community that is fostered from it. A noncompetitive, raw, honest community that holds the space for teachers to not only explore what it means for them to teach the practice but how to authentically share it with students. Yes, there are fun things like adventures, the retreat, Acroyoga, and more that you'll experience in training, but nothing can compare to the lifelong friendships and foundation for success that you'll receive.
